The Rainbow Resilience Foundation Launches “The Resilience Portal” Digital Platform and “The Resilience Line” Hotline to Support Male and LGBTQIA+ Survivors of Domestic Violence
Los Angeles, CA — With survivor access and safety at the heart of its mission, The Rainbow Resilience Foundation proudly launches The Resilience Portal—a fully digital platform providing immediate support and connection—while continuing development of its first physical space, The Resilience Hub, set to open in 2026. As California’s only nonprofit dedicated exclusively to male survivors of domestic violence—and one of the only organizations of its kind in the entire United States—this launch marks a critical step toward visibility, compassion, and safety for a population that has been overlooked for far too long.
Survivors can also access immediate help or speak confidentially with someone by calling The Resilience Line at (213) 376-4761 or emailing contact@rainbowresiliencefoundation.org.
www.rainbowresiliencefoundation.org offers 24/7 access to emergency resources, trauma-informed services, and compassionate guidance for men navigating domestic abuse—whether emotional, physical, financial, sexual, or psychological. Visitors will find direct pathways to mental health support, legal assistance, emergency housing, and support groups. The site also includes a “Quick Exit” button for safety, ADA-compliant accessibility features for all users, and a growing archive of survivor stories that help others recognize their own experiences and know they’re not alone.
This launch is about reclaiming space—and language—for male survivors. We are here and we believe you.

Why the Name Rainbow Resilience?
The name Rainbow Resilience carries a deeper meaning than meets the eye. Rainbows don’t appear after the storm—they exist within it. They emerge only when sunlight breaks through the clouds. When sun and storm collide. That’s where we meet survivors—not just after the pain, but in the thick of it, when life feels messy, uncertain, and real.
For us, the rainbow is more than a symbol—it’s a moment of clarity, of becoming, of strength. It captures the emotional complexity and beauty of surviving abuse. Not by pretending the storm never happened, but by making something meaningful from it.
While the rainbow has long been a powerful symbol for the LGBTQ+ community, we chose the name intentionally to include all men. Because abuse doesn’t discriminate—and neither should support. Whether you are gay, bi, straight, trans, or questioning, this space was built for you.
Because resilience doesn’t wait for perfect weather. It shows up in the storm.
